Christian Maria Morgan City of Ember, The Help, Inkheart, Matilda, GOLDEN COMPASS, The Secret Garden, Alice in Wonderland, Eragon(sort of), Percy Jackson and the Lightnening Theif. Can't think of any more at the moment, but there are a ton! Hope they make the Maze Runner a movie.

I can't say that I agree with Percy, Golden Compass, or Eragon. . . I thought those were all pretty much butchered.

Christian Maria Morgan Eragon and Percy Jaskon I can see, but the Golden Compass was amazing! When was the last time you watched it?

Did you read the book? Without the book I could see the movie being really good, but as an adaption it didn't even have the end in it.

message 13: by Christian (new)

Christian Maria Morgan Yeah I read the book. I see what you mean.

message 14: by Christian (new)

Christian Maria Morgan How about HOOT and/or HOLES? They both begin with a "H"!

Asiyah (vvanderess) | 438 comments The Help and the Harry Potter series. Everyone keeps saying Hunger Games which I do think they did a good job BUT they could've done a little better. The title of this conversation is the BEST adaptations too....

message 16: by Asiyah (new)

Asiyah (vvanderess) | 438 comments I also agree with Alexis. Eragon was awful and after I watched Percy Jackson, I literally had a list I wanted to send to the producers. And the beautiful creatures movie? Words cannot even...

message 17: by Alexis (new)

Alexis | 11 comments Life of Pi
Hunger Games

but the Beautiful Creatures movie is awful in comparison to the book
