Oh yes

[Kudos to Rosemary for the thread title ;)]

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 9112 comments That is a really nice purse, Elle. And a good deal. I like a good deal.

Actually Simon finds a lot of bargains, he might like this thread...

Elle (louiselesley) | 7913 comments Hopefully he doesn't post a lot of fences in it thought.....

And I was tempted by the green one with the black detailing. I figured it'd be easy to find in my huge backpack but I also figured it'd get dirty a lot.

I am so nosey. I wanna know what everyone else is buyingggggggggg.

Kath Middleton | 25094 comments We debated about an Eglu but unless you get the big Cube they are very cramped for the number of birds they are advertised for. I also felt the plastic, though easy to clean, would look out of place in the garden of a 40 year-old chalet style semi on the edge of a village. Wood looks so much more at home here. I might feel differently in a town - but then I might not have chickens in a town.

Anywhoo - stop distracting me - I HATE shopping!

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 9112 comments I bought myself one of these a while ago, and intend to get another to make a pair - or perhaps Santa has picked up on the heavy hints (unlikely). I love it!

Karen Lowe | 2336 comments No idea about make-up bags, cos I don't use any (make-up, that is) but there's always loads of lovely pencil case things which are far more interesting http://www.paperchase.co.uk/stationer...

message 28: by Joo (new)

Joo (jooo) | 1636 comments I don't even know why I'm on this thread as I hate shopping with a passion, but the guys in work were passing this link round. Tresspass fleeces from Play at less than a fiver http://www.play.com/Search.html?searc...

And even more "so not me". Hubby was looking for a snazzy radiator for the lounge and saw one yesterday for a cool grand (half price too) on the B&Q website. There was some offery thing going on where you join the B&Q club and get 15% off, but it was only until yesterday and he didn't want to miss out on the offer, blah blah blah, so was going to buy it this morning as that 15% didn't cover radiators. Anyway, this morning it was down to £850 (bargain!!!!) and he was about to press the button but the little orange man caught his eye at the bottom of the page - 15% off everything (over £50) next Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
You join the club for free and get regular offers. If it's 15% off every weekend, then that's a great club to be a member of :)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments I've got half a zillion make-up bags, Peanut.

They're all freebies from flights.

Happy to send you one. You want Emirates or Virgin or BA?

Don't reccie KLM. They suck.

Forget any American airline. Count yourself lucky if there is loo roll and soap.

Ooooo Singapore is great. I'm keeping those. ;)

message 30: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 7913 comments LOL!

I'm fine Patti ;)! I have one. It's just falling apart and I'm thinking if I have a back pack that cost an absolute fortune I should at least attempt to fill it with nice things.

message 31: by Emma (new)

Emma (emzibah) | 4396 comments I have just bought the cutest onesie!!! Have wanted one for a while but it had to be the right one. I just found it in Next. Is the softest thing I have ever felt. Here is me in it: http://www.goodreads.com/photo/group/...

It is, Rosemary! It's becoming a running joke in our house now

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 36808 comments I went past a theatre in Dublin at the weekend and there were a few teenage girls queueing for a Jedward show of some kind. Dressed in their onseies. It just looked wrong....

I have only ever been outside in my onesie once... I was staying at my grandmas (she lives on a farm in the middle of nowhere) and I just stuck wellies and a coat on to take the phone out to her

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments Emz, you are so lovely!

You may want to think about surgery to get those ears pinned back though...

We don't call them onesies back home.

They are footiejammies.

Yeah mine hasn't got feet, I think it would be way too hot with feet!

Elle (louiselesley) | 7913 comments I'm totally having to ban myself from ASOS. Their jewellery is to DIE FOR.

Although I've re-found Ebay.. oops

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments No Elle. It's a good thing.

Now sort out buying stuff and having it delivered to Azerbaijan. :)

message 46: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 7913 comments LOL xD!

I do love internet shopping.

If you order something to your UK postal address, will it not get forwarded to you?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments Yep.

But we'd have to make sure it's labeled 'books'

message 48: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 7913 comments we could use those hollowed out book things you get postcards in ;0

message 49: by Joo (new)

Joo (jooo) | 1636 comments I was going to buy my friend a bag from that funky-bag site (well it would be rude not to use the 20% off voucher) but couldn't decide which one I like, so I ordered 2, one for her and one for me. I wanted to see a better picture of the bags, so found the manufacturer's website. And have ordered a shopping bag, mug and clutch bag for myself. But if I spend another £8, I'll have free postage (saving £4) so really, if I buy something for £8, it is technically half price :)
