Angie (seren-lucy) | 1147 comments From January, one of our monthly group reads will be selected based on a NZ themed category e.g. read a book set in the South Island.

I will be selecting the monthly category from the comments in this thread.

Angie (seren-lucy) | 1147 comments I've decided that it would be a good help if you number the category ideas, because I'm going to use the random number selector to generate a number for us.
So Darkpool and Sweetp-1, can you please edit your messages and keep the numbers going. Darkpool, 6-10 and Sweetp-1, 11-14. Many thanks!!

Saw the Mr Pip DVD on Saturday night. I thought they did a good job. I read the book when it first came out so had forgotten some of what happened. Sad but worth watching.

Sweetp-1 | 402 comments The June thread is now open. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

What about a Book Pool Challenge?

1. When you sign up pick 3 books you want to be included in the "book pool."

2. You can pick any book as long as they are NZ related. No duplicates.

3. Once the challenge starts you will read books from the "pool."

4. At the end of the month whoever read the most books from the pool is the champion!

message 20: by Angie (new)

Angie (seren-lucy) | 1147 comments Cool idea! I'll keep it in mind for the October Challenge or for the Spring Challenge, unless you want to set it up as an extra challenge yourself.
