I'm D.G., I live in NYC and I'm 36. I'm married with no children.

I read pretty much everything but my favorite genres are romance, UF and fantasy. I also blog for www.badassbookreviews.com

I won't offer to the captain because first, this is my first time participating and second, I'll be looking for a new job in the new year so I'll be really busy. But for whomever is the captain, I can build a spreadsheet to put together the posts (I have one I did for Bingo that I can repurpose.) It just makes life easier creating links etc. :)

Hey team!
So what's involved with being the captain? I've never participated in the Dance Party, so I naturally said no to being captain. But I've been captain for another team challenge on Goodreads before.
Having said that, if Lisa Kay will hold my hand during this round-PLEASE!-, I'll volunteer to be team captain.
For a team name, I like "We will PINK you!" It sounds menacing enough after a round of cupcakes, right? :)

I *think* that being team captain involves requesting the points from the moderators in a timely fashion. But to do that, you have to put together our reads in a post with links and stuff. I've done it a couple of times in Bingo but here I think there are points involved so I don't know if you have to do anything else.

I make "seasonal" velvet cupcakes and cakes. It's all about the food coloring!
For Halloween I made black velvet cupcakes with orange butter-cream frosting. For Thanksgiving, orange velvet with yellow butter-cream.
Now I really want a cupcake!
