I just finished reading this wonderful book by Sarah Martinez, and although it's not a fantasy book it made me think of many of the wonderful discussions we've had here on the forums and in person, as well as the discussions Felicia, Kiala, Bonnie, and Veronica have had. It is told from the perspective of Vivianna Post, who writes gay erotica novels, but who comes from a family of hard-core literary writers. This book is incredibly well-written and deals with many topics we enjoy discussing: the roles of men and women, the differences and nuances in sexuality, and how/why sex should/should not be included in novels. It's smart, funny, sad, and steamy at parts (including a couple of threesomes). I would really recommend this book to anyone interested in branching out of the fantasy genre a bit.
