Lori Each cow produces 120 pounds of poop every day? My god!

message 3: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments It almost looks as if that cow is pooping at the very moment the picture was taken.

Poop! I love threads about poop.

Have we noticed that here in TC we can bring most any thread back around to:

A, poop. Claro.
B, toes. Always, always with the toes.
C, The Jerk.

message 5: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) The prize goes to the one who can combine all three.

message 6: by Sandi (new)

Sandi (sandikal) Too bad there wasn't a scene in "The Jerk" where Steve Martin walked barefoot through cow poop and had dried manure between his toes when he kissed Bernadette Peters.

Does she have a "pooping" expression on her face?

message 8: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Have you done studies on this, Bun?

message 9: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Smells Sounds good to me!

message 10: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Please, what makes a thread a zombie thread?

I think this is actually true of TCers, too.

message 18: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) It's when they pee on a flat rock that you have to run for cover.

message 19: by Chris (new)

Chris (bibliophile85) Well good thing about cow manure I suppose is that when supplies run low during the zombie invasion....one can save on fuel and firewood by lighting cow manure....

.....that's nasty

message 20: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Really, Bun? Doesn't smell like poo when you burn it?

message 21: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Why in the world are we not trying to utilize it, then??

message 22: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) They use it for fertilizer. It's more valuable for that use.

message 23: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments huh. Seems like there should be more ways to use this plentiful commodity.

message 24: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Where's "back home", Antares? And, what does "smacking it against the walls" mean? What value is there in "smacking it against the walls"? *intrigued*

message 25: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11694 comments Susan wrote: "huh. Seems like there should be more ways to use this plentiful commodity."

Perhaps folk could dry it in the sun, then have contests of strength in which competitors hurl the dried poop to see who can send it the farthest?

message 27: by Meels (last edited Nov 28, 2012 10:21AM) (new)

Meels (amelia) I think she was envisioning giant poo burning power plants...

message 28: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Phil wrote: "When Jammies hungers for its brains."

Silly, Jammies wants fresh brains, not zombie brains.

'melia, I believe it is possible to resurrect a thread by posting in it, then delete your post, thereby making its return from the grave a spooooooky mystery.

Barb, tell the minion typing for you that it's its, not it's. :p

message 29: by Meels (last edited Nov 28, 2012 11:13AM) (new)

Meels (amelia) That's where I get in a twist on its/it's. Usually possessive is the ' (e.g. Barb's brush vs. Lots of Barbs were in my class), but for it's/its the ' is for the contraction...*beats head against desk*

message 30: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) I can see that as being a good insulator. Just filling in any gaps would help.

How old were you when you moved to Canada?

message 31: by Félix (new)

Chuckling that you asked Amelia if she knew you were friends, writhing at the scary clown.

message 39: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments The font for the clowns name is creepy.

message 40: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Um. No. Sorry. I don't have a huge friends list...but, I have been away for a while.

We must have enough books in common though. ;)

WHY?????????

message 43: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) No idea. I saw it while looking for a birthday cake for Phil. "Happy birthday Phil cake" in the search had that as one result. It was too funny, I had to post it. If nothing else, for Sally. Crochet poop with a little fly on it? Priceless!

Is that a cartoon from, like, Hustler or something? I'm trying to imagine in what publication or on what website that would be considered....tasteful.

Susan | 6406 comments Oh LG you just made me guffaw and spit a little beer.

message 47: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24362 comments Mod
Well I doubt it's from Reader's Digest.

message 48: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments No, I think you hit it spot on with Hustler. I just didn't picture you looking at Hustler to know.

message 49: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24362 comments Mod
I don't look at Hustler. But it just so happens when I was decluttering a few weeks ago I came across an old article I had saved from an academic journal, about pornography, and the author made the point that Hustler (I'm pretty sure it was Hustler) had scatological cartoons.

I think it was (Male) Desire and (Female) Disgust: Reading Hustler by Laura Kipnis.

message 50: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Hustler does, in fact, have such cartoons.
