No, this is not a cry for assistance...it's the name of the movie I just watched! Help!, as in the Beatles. It's no cinematic masterpiece, but it does have a few chuckles, and you get to see the guys performing several of the great songs from the album of the same name. The humor is of that very off-the-wall British flavor, a lot like Monty Python. As far as Beatles movies go,I do think I prefer A Hard Day's Night to this one, because it's just the guys running around being themselves, instead of trying to support a movie with an actual plot. Gosh, they were all just so cute! Even Ringo, God bless him.

I haven't watched "Help!" in years, but it is great fun. (I stayed in the theatre and watched it twice in a row the day it opened...but that was a very long time ago...) But you're right that "A Hard Day's Night" is a better film. It's fast, funny and very much an unforgettable time capsule of the original media/cultural frenzy surrounding the Beatles.
