I have written the short stories "My Karachi" has been published by OUP in 2012-2013 competition while "Goblet Of Wine With Dancing Life" is under evaluation for 2013-2014 competition of OUP.

Hello, I'm Hasan.

I used to have a passion for reading before I chose ( or perhaps it was chosen for me ) my major in college. I'm an studying electronics and the prospect of moulding myself into a second degree electronics engineer is horrifying for me. Apparently, perfection "is" the name of the game. :P

I'm trying to find my feet in the world of letters; I hope it'll be more exciting and enticing than I remember it to be ( despite the fact that our memories can trick us into believing things that never were ). :)

The pessimism/optimism phenomenon puts me to sleep. I would rather that you think of it as a lamentation of things past and present. :P

I usually do not restrict myself to a classification of books although it might seem that I prefer fiction, fantasy and non-fiction.

I've just joined this group. TBH I didn't even know groups existed on GRs till last week. I'm mostly into sci-fi (space operas to be particular) in fiction. I also love non-fiction and interests keep varying but recently I've been enamored by eastern/indian philosophy.
