Aima Junaid 🐰 (ajbutt) | 6 comments Hi guys! I'm Aima. 👋🏻
I love to read from the time I "learned" to read (does that even makes sense lol)
I stopped reading when I was in college because it was so uncool and nerdy and honestly I didn't had much time as I am a medical student
But! The good part is I started again back in 2nd Proff and still am continuing to pursue the pleasure of reading whenever I get time.

message 1927: by Aisha (new)

Aisha Amjad | 5 comments Hello to every one! My name is aisha and I'm a literature major student. I love reading (well, duh. Everyone here does) and listening to music. I mostly prefer fantasy, paranormal, YA and romantic books. It was a pleasant surprise when I found this group because not many people enjoy reading in my social circle and to find fellow Pakistanis who are pasionate about reading just as much as me feels nice. And I just finished my latest books so I'm open to recommendations, preferably something humorous and romantic? Happy reading people! :)

Hey there! Welcome to Pakistani Readers.
For romance read book reviews of Nora Roberts and Judith McNaught.

Hello and Welcome to the group.
As for your request i'd recommend you read A Walk to Remember or anything by Nicholas Sparks really.

message 1930: by Sadiya (new)

Sadiya (sadiyahameed) Hey folks, I'm Sadiya, I'm a Software Engineer and some of my favorite authors are Mohsin Hamid, Arundhati Roy, Kamila Shamsie, Moshin Hamid, Jhumpa Lahiri and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Of the last few books I read, my favorites are 'A place for us' by Fatima Farheen Mirza and 'The Story of a Brief Marriage' by Anuk Arudpragasam. Looking forward to discussing books I am reading or have read and get recommendations for what to read next.

message 1931: by Muhib (new)

Muhib Farooqui | 2 comments Hello everybody, This is Muhib Farooqui, I am a student with an interest in political and historical non fiction and an (almost) unhealthy obsession with English literature in general. My favorite authors for fiction are: George Orwell, Ernest Hemingway, Mohsin Hamid, Mohammed Hanif and Paulo Coelho. Favourite Books: The Book Thief, Animal Farm, The Alchemist, Long walk to Freedom, The Motorcycle Diaries and The Autobiography of Malcolm X. Really look forward to hearing from all of you.

message 1932: by Uzair (new)

Uzair | 1172 comments Hello and welcome to both of you, sorry for the late reply.
Activity is on and off.
@Sadiya I'm sure you'd like the "Chit Chat" section for discussion among other things.
As for your interest in books,if you're an Urdu reader might i request Mushaf by Nimra Ahmed.
I'm reading it myslef.

message 1933: by Uzair (new)

Uzair | 1172 comments @Muhib
I too have a liking for political and historical on-fiction.Maybe you could try Oxford history for Pakistan by Peter Moss.
Although it's very brief,it's also very fun.
The Book thief was great and I've wanted to read the Autobiography of Malcolm X.

me, me, me
how does sharing work on kindle?

message 1939: by Saad (new)

Saad Javaid (saadjavaid) | 9 comments Shabana,
kindles have a @kindle.com email associated with them which you can usually find by going to amazon.com/mycd and then preferences > personal document settings. Once there you just add an approved email in the Approved Personal Document E-mail List and anything sent in the correct format from that approved email to the kindle email will show up on your kindle.

I can email you the correct file which you can then send to your kindle from your email :)
Pretty easy !

message 1950: by Uzair (new)

Uzair | 1172 comments It's just too amazing to dislike.
The uniqueness of the world, the way The past and present merge at one point, the writing style and just how unexpected the plot twists are make it exceptional.
