Hi all, this is Farhan from Islamabad. Thought I should join this community of Pakistani readers and learn more about what people in our country are reading and would like to read. I'm mostly interested in fiction, especially the ones written by writers from the subcontinent. I also love reading science fiction, thrillers, and fantasies.Looking forward to interesting discussions here :)
Welcome @Farhan to the group... And thank Allah you are from Islamabad... So few are from Islamabad that we are nearly in minority ;)
nope everyone i know except two people are from islamabad. you are definately not minority here.
Hi,My name is Hina and I like to read classic literature, mystery, historicals, sagas and techno thrillers. I am the admin of two facebook groups. I might be able to assist if someone needs a particular ebook.
shokha batamizzi hotti....rudeness...sokhay could have been in the same catagory so i chose shokhee...it sounds much better.
Hello everyone, I have been on GR for years but never kept up, until I found this group. I love how active it is. I'm a mommy for three very active kids and I live to read. My life is a battle between feeding my kids or finishing the current page of the book i am reading. Don't be alarmed, I always finish the book first ;) sadly I don't live in Islamabad (since there is so much Islamabad love going on!) I live in new jersey. So any jersey people say hey!
@Zenab Welcome to the groupwe try to make it active but we need the help of others as well :-)
ur genres??
Awwwww dont feel like such.... we all are here for each and every member of this group.... and i think we shoukd move to chit chat section before I am banned :-P:-P;-)
I love Vampire novels, by Anne Rice only. She is in a genre all by herself I think. I love reading books by authors of the sub-continent, and crime thrillers (even though I'm scared to be in the dark for like a week afterwards). I live reading what I call "airport reads". They are books are ver simple and easy to read. They aren't so thought provoking, just amusing for a fun "time paas" read at say the airport, waiting rooms, park an such. Real deep books can't be read without a cup of hot chai, so they stay home!
Well... I am sharing a secret so dont tell anyone... I am not from Islamabad.... and my love is all consumed with Multan... my hometown;-):-):-)
