Jon (jonmoss) | 706 comments I can't find a satisfactory reason why Dashiva decided it was time for Rand to die. Didn't he just save his life at the end of the last book? Knowing what I know about who Dashiva really is, perhaps he thought Rand had finally gone made, especially while using Callandor against the Seanchan (and anyone/everyone else within striking distance)?

Gianluca (GianlucaG) It becomes clear in Winter's Heart.

Helen | 767 comments I've not read before, it puzzled me but I decided it has to be based on Rand's behaviour with the sword. Think I enjoyed the book more for being shorter, even the dress straightening!
