Shanna_redwind The imagery in this book was very intense and I found myself able to imagine each of the characters in a way that I'm not usually able to do.

I think that the images that disturbed me the most was the army of mothers with children fused to them. Did anyone else find the images in this book disturbing?

Temple Rose I thought the writing of the book to be very visual. When describing a character or scene it was very graphic but not disturbing its good when a writer can put the words in to images in your head cause it makes the story more realistic or possible.

Silverpiper I think the fusings brought home the real horror of an apocalypse in a very clever way.

Reading about the army of mothers fused to their children was nightmarish.

I loved the book and can hardly wait for the second one.
