Hard choice but I will have to say Gone Girl by Jillian Flynn, Home Front by Kristen Hannah and A Walk Across the Sun by Corban Addison. With The Light Between Oceans by ML Stedman and 11-22-63 by Stephen King coming real close behind !


The Secret Life of Bees, The Lady of the Rivers, and Outlander are three that really stood out as being on my top contenders this year. There are of course more on my favorites list, but these were truly amazing books.

My top three of 2012 are Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, The Liar's Gospel by Naomi Alderman, and Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel. This has been a very good year for new fiction and other titles that I enjoyed include Break the Skin by Lee Martin and The Lighthouse by Alison Moore. My 12 top reads of 2012 are currently reviewed on izzyreads.com

Read Gone Girl and was not one of my favs for 2012 releases. But reviewing all your lists I am excited to get to some of the books I already have: The Dog Stars ; A Fault in our Stars ; Defending Jacob ; 11/22/63; Kite Runner ; A Light Between Oceans etc. I have so much to read on my Kindle shelf and my book shelf.
