Andrew Breslin (AndrewBreslin) | 8 comments Greetings, fellow mathaphiles.

Anyone who likes both fiction and math will probably enjoy the newly launched Imaginaire Magazine, a journal of mathematical fiction.

Issue number one includes five stories all involving mathematics, and all ripping good yarns to boot. It's free to download as a pdf or for an Ebook.

Happy reading.

Math is great.

Ronald Lett (slider142) | 1 comments That was a great collection in a hard-to-find genre of fiction. Thanks for letting us know!

Andrew Breslin (AndrewBreslin) | 8 comments Peter: It *is* cool. And free to download, so check it out! :)

Ronald: I'm glad you liked it. My story was "The Grapes of Math" so I hope that was your favorite. The other stories are good too. ;)

My mathematical fiction novel is available at It's called Practical Applications of Game Theory

It is appropriate for anyone who loves math, with the exception of children. It's largely set in a prison and it's as violent as you would expect, but chock full of math. :)

Andrew Breslin (AndrewBreslin) | 8 comments Also: if anyone would like to submit their own mathematical fiction to issue 2 of Imaginaire, the editor (a fellow named Josh whom I do not know outside the inteterwebs, but who seems like a nice bloke with good taste in literature) is accepting submissions. :)
