How do you organize your documents and information, both physically and digitally? What do you consider the best methods to be?

Tracy (nabertj) | 2 comments I had everything printed out and in binders - about 1000 pages in all. Photos and documents in sleeves. Recently, I gave it all up and went digital. God help me if Ancestry every crashes, but I've spent the last 8 months loading everything into there. Of course I still have the scanned version of the documents and photos, but all my information now resides in Ancestry's repository.

Michelle | 5 comments I use Family Tree Maker. However, I still print some information out, like a family I'm working on so I can jot down notes for myself. I still like the "feel" of paper. I also have my files saved onto another hard drive and have uploaded almost all of it to a website that I'm keeping for the family.
