Rachael (rprensner) I am extremely critical of books. I have read a lot of Christian fiction, but the only stuff I've liked is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and Blink by Ted Dekker. Could I have some recomendations for well written Christian fiction?

Karol I really like Angela Hunt (sometimes writes as Angela Elwell Hunt). She can is good at everything from contemporary to historical fiction.

You might also like T. Davis Bunn (but I don't recommend the books he's co-written with Janette Oke).

I second the opinion of Liz Curtis Higg's books. That's where I got my start in Christian Fiction. I also really suggest books by Tamera Alexander if you liked Redeeming Love so much, similar lines that are very close to being as fabulous and thought provoking. Also, the second book Distant Heart by Tracie Bateman in a series.
