Hi Clai, welcome to GR-TFG! I also like Ken Follett but I have to stop after 4 or 5 of his novels. I still have all the others in my tbr. I will read his "Fall of the Giants" sometime this year!

VERONICA: I will also read Farenheit 451. I've been seeing mixed reviews about it so even if I have a copy of the book, I will have to wait for the inspiration to read it.

JZHUN: New Year's Resolution to reduce your tbr before buying? Not for me. Since we are buying second hand, if you don't buy when the book shows up in BS, you might regret it for the rest of your life.
My new year's resolution: read more than my record in 2010! I told you last year that my target was to read as many books as Nicholas Sparks does: 200.

You know how many I read last year? 198 ha ha.
Nagbasa pa ako ng 7 books ni Bob Ong in December, thinking na aabot ako ha ha. I failed. Loser!

Onga Ranee. Nagbasa na ako ng The Velveteen Rabbit, Peter Pan, etc. Di pa rin ako umabot! Yong dalawang di umabot sa paghihiwalay ng taon ay yong "Pacman" ni Manny Pacquiao at "ABNKKBSNPLAko?!" ni Bob Ong. Sobrang easy reads na yong mga yon. Di umabot ng 12:00 midnight noong Dec 31 ha ha.

50 lang target ko last year, haha naka 170 ako, kasi panay basa ako nung bakasyon at salamat sa Goodreads na inspire ako sa mga madadaldal sa grupo na magbasa. Nauubusan na kasi ako ng ishare na libro. Haha!

Haha, ako kasi walang line up line up sa TBR basta kung ano lang yung interested na title o kulay ng cover o may nag ask sa aking basahin, binabasa ko na kaagad. Haha.

Hello everybody,

My Name is RCG77 (real name Ruth). I have been working in the semiconductor industry for quite a long time now. I need books to dispel the oh-so seriousness and matter of fact-ness of making chips and remind me that there are more important things in life than making the next quarter's numbers. :)

Absolutely love books since I was a kid. Started on an enormous Lady Bird collection (Php2 isa dati) and back issues of Reader's Digest. I love JD Salinger and Neil Gaiman. I get into genre frenzies from time to time (i.e. concentrate on reading all sci fi, then all non fiction, then all murder etc). Comfort reading however are Neil Gaiman and fantasy books.

Was ecstatic to see a Filipino book club here in GoodReads! Hoping that we will reinforce each other to read out of our comfort zones :)
