Heyy. :) Newbie here.Im (obviously) Filipino, 14 y/o. I live in QC, Philippines. ;)
;)
Noong ako'y 11 or 12, my cousin infuenced me to read Filipino pocketbooks. Those were the first-ever novels I read.
At nung narelease aman ung Twilight the movie (Grade 5 lng ako nun), na-ano akong basahin ung Twilight Saga kaya aun binasa ko nga. :)) Twilight Saga was the first English novel I read. After nun, d nako ulit nagbasa ulit kasi di ko nman alam kung anong babasahin.
However, nung 1st yr highschool ako, our school required us to read 3 novels (The Giver, Gathering Blue and To Kill A Mockingbird). Edi basa-basa ulit ako. Pero d pa rin ako naadik.
Naadik kng ako nung 2nd year highshool na ko kse 1) initroduce sa kin ng classmate ko si Rick Riordan; 2) My Bestfiend's mother intoduced Judith Mcnaught, Sidney Sheldon, Julie Garwood, Jude Deveraux atbp.; 3) Required reading nman namin sa school ung Things Fall Apart and A Time to Kill.
>>As of now, Im still a 2nd year student, a book lover xD and if you don mind, members of this grp. would you please recommend me titles or authors I might enjoy? :) :) :)
@Kryss: required din kaming pasahin yung Things Fall Apart noong highschool... haha... akala ko kami lang ganun eh.Have you tried reading The Mortal Instruments?
@Kwesi ikr. :D
@Joyzi, Bibili po ako nung The Hunger Games. :))
>Salamat po sa pagrerekomend ^^

Welcome to GR-TFG, Szam and Kryss.
Kryss, books that you might enjoy? Read Marquis de Sade's 120 Days of Sodom or Edward Gibbon's The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire ha ha.
@K.D.: thanks for welcoming me.
:D Ang nababasa ko pa lng po ay ung The Other Side Of Midnight, Are You Afraid Of the Dark, The Best Laid Plans, Memories of Midnight atbp..
@K.D Ni-add ko po kau, if you dont mind :) btw Muka nga pong pang smart people. haha :)) Pero sige po, pagmakakabili aco Ill try. :D
