Hi, I'm new here. At first I thought this was a all Filipino (tagalog) posting group. Good to know there are others like me that's slow in tagalog as well. Anyways, I'm more into fantasy and action-thriller stuffs, but I read any book that I find interesting spontaneously.

I've read most of the discussions here and I had a good laugh. I think I'll like it here...

So last May 16 I attended the Komik Con sa UP... and guess what guys bumili ako ng Kiko Machine Komix Blg. 4 at 5 tapos pinapirmahan ko ke Dakilang Manix Abrera!!! Rak en Roll talaga!!! 'yung nga lang ala kaming kodakan moments la akong camera ehh...

Tas napapirma ko rin yung writer/artist ng Zsa Zsa Zaturnah na si Carlo Vergara... Hwooowww!!!! Saya talaga ng araw na yon...

BiBili pa sana ako ng Elmer series ni Gerry Alanguilan kaso ayun naubos na kayamanan ko ehhh...

Di bale meron pa naman sa susunod...

ang schools naman ay requiring diligence but you all well know that life isn't about being diligent all the time. basta lang hindi ka tanga, okey na yan! tsura lang ng science, kelangan pa bang i-philosophize why we fall and felt like we're floating? obvious naman eh. we fall kasi we are so tanga sa nilalarakan natin or we failed to noticed that its a bangin. we float dahil high! may taga-PDEA ba dito? they can explain that better dahil yan ang expertise nila, ergo the government made a national office for the floating persons.

what did you think of the movie?hehe.para sa akin it's ok.magaling ung effects niya(especially sa antimatter bomb explosion scene), but what the hell? ginawa nilang research assistant si Leonardo Vetra at inomit nila ung part na anak ng pope si camerlango,oh well....hehe....:)

Mahal ko ang mga taga-UP.:) Ako kasi ay isang Atenistang naliligaw sa sarili niyang eskuwelahan. Ang gusto ko sa UP,you can come as who you are,and nobody gives a shit about you,whereas sa Ateneo,although may konting individuality,feel ko(since katatapos pa lamang ng freshie year ko), parang pareho-pareho lamang ang mga tao.

Gusto ko nga sanang mag-UP kaso tumaas ang tuition kumpara kung scholar ka dito.ehehehe....but whatever,pare-pareho lang naman ang mga unibersidad na yan....

Btw, Lynai...your multiply site is cool...and your an attorney too...that's so cool...dream ko rin maging attorney someday....ahehehe...:)

nice experimentation. the story is tragic. delves on faith and science. but since plot is half-truth and half-imaginary, I respect the writer's way in unfolding his story. in the end, faith and God will make things right.
the movie kpet me glued partly because the conversation is not too audible. the killer and that freak... gawa lang sya sa imahinasyon.

Hello! I'm Rizzi, just joined the group, hehehe...

Uhmmm, medyo wide range yung interests ko sa books, halos lahat ng genre pinapatos ko, di ko lang masakyan yung romance novels pero nabasa ko na yung Gone With The Wind pati yung Scarlett na sequel nya, hehehe...

Lately, sci-fi yung trip ko, Isaac Asimov at Douglas Adams nung matapos ko yun medyo nasa Holocaust na naman ako...I was reading Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl kaso naiwan ko sa bahay namin (I'm working away from home kasi, hehe)...so I started reading Alicia: My Story...

So yun, hehehe...tsaka I agree na mahirap magbasa ng books in Filipino...sabi nila nakakanosebleed ang Engligh pero nahehemorrhage ako kapag nagbabasa ng hardcore books written in Filipino :D
