Hi Maxx! Naglalie low din kami sa reading, yung tipong one or two books a month lang. We have yet to experience a total disregard of reading within a month.Hi Noelle! We haven't read erotica yata (if you count Henry Miller, yun pa lang). Erotic stories, yes, but not actual erotica.
Hi Hesed! We love book sales, too. The only semblance of book auctions that we've experienced are the ones on eBay.

Hi, Angus! What books/stories by Henry Miller have you read? Care to recommend? :)
Noelle, I've read Tropic of Cancer but I would only recommend it if you like very stylized writing about dirty men who badly need to be deloused but still fool around, even with one-legged prostitutes.
Hesed wrote: "Hi, everyone!I'm Hesed from Tuguegarao City, 18. I'm new here in Goodreads though I've always wanted to join (procrastination kept me captive for a long time).
I read all kinds of books. Pero my..."
Welcome to Goodreads and the TFG group, Hesed! :) *waves back*
hello everyone, I'm Sharmaine, I'm not new here in Goodreads, but I never joined any book club, this is my first time join a book club, i was searching for a Filipino book club, and I'm lucky I found this group. I want to talk all of you guys about books or anything..I read all kinds of books, but young adults are my favorites. I'm now currently reading the book thief by Markus Zusak. have you read it? what can you say about it?
Hi Sharmaine, welcome to your first book club. And hurray for The Book Thief. It's my favorite YA novel. That's all I can say for now. Keep reading! :)
Hi! I'm Ricka! I just started reading books last year and I got super addicted. Haha! I love books that are similar to Shatter Me Series or Miss Peregrine's House of Peculiar Children or i don't know haha! I guess anything that would have powers in it. But I'm also reading contemporary so yeah. :)

Yeah, medyo mahirap nga eh, lalo na kung ang reason lang is walang time. Sad truth, it is.
Sharmaine wrote: "hello everyone, I'm Sharmaine, I'm not new here in Goodreads, but I never joined any book club, this is my first time join a book club, i was searching for a Filipino book club, and I'm lucky I fou..."YA is my fave, too. And YA books are so amazing! Haven't read The Book Thief, though, but looking forward to.

I have yet to read those you mentioned and I'm very excited about it. I hope you enjoy more as you read more books.
Hi, guys! So, I don't know how to make a new thread; I'll just ask here. Does anyone know where I can buy graphic novels (like Batman, Joker, the collector's edition/s, etc.) for a cheaper price? Do you know of any online shop, perhaps, or maybe some of you are willing to sell? Thank you. :)
WELCOME TO ALL NEWBIES! Pauline Cueno: Hi!
Eka: Well said! Come share your reading experiences with us on one of the up-coming F2F.
Kathleene Mae: Looking forward to meeting and sharing ideas with you too.
Jerson: Neil Gaiman fangirl here!

Kim: Davao! I love Davao kahit malayo. ♥
Sigrid: Hi! If you like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, you might also likeForgive Me, Leonard Peacock or The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian. :)

Devi: Here's a proper welcome to Goodreads and TFG...YAY! :)
Tracy: Noted! If we are anywhere near QC, we'll give you a holler. I am from Las Pinas, by the way, it takes about 2 hrs for me to meet up with the group around Ortigas or Shaw; but I always look forward to seeing these people every month that I don't mind the commute. I've figured, once a person fell in love with people, the'll do everything possible to see them. I promise you, you will not regret meeting us! ♥
Maxx: Don't worry, we're all obsessed in collecting books here. You are in the right crowd! :)
Noelle: Bookworms rule! hehehe
Hesed: Inheritance Cycle is one of my favorites too! I wish Christopher Paolini is working double time on his new book.
Sharmaine: Book Thief is love! Happy reading, just keep a wad of tissue close by. :)
Ricka: Welcome to book addiction!
Said too much! hahaha

Hi! I am a GIRL and my name is Jomille! Well they often thought i'm a boy. By the way, i love to read and write. I write a lot and i read a lot and i feel like i'll go mad because 24 hours is not enuf to read all the books I like and to write all the ideas i have! I read everything from kwentong below 18 to erotica, and ayoko sa BOOKISHTA. BOOKISHTA, mga taong ginagawang fashion statement ang libro! Haha!
Sharmaine wrote: "Angus: just finished it, it was so sad, and its my favorite book now. hahaha have you watch the movie?Maxx: you should read it, it's really good."
I will read it, maybe after my long list, but I will def. put it in my TBR! :D
Sharmaine: Yes, I did. I am so biased that I like the movie. If I haven't read the book prior to watching it, I would have disliked it. :DHi Jomille, I am a BOY who acts like Tito Boy, hahaha! At merong palang Bookishta. Hmm. I'm too old for these new terms. XD
Hello Everyone! Medyo newbie ako sa goodreads haha. I enjoy all book genres but Stephen King is my King and Anne Rice is my guilty pleasure. I look forward to reading with this group!
Welcome to TFG, newbies! :)Hello Manu, I think last Stephen King I read was The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. And I am about to read Anne Rice's Angel Time in a month or two. ;)
Happy reading, everyone!
Sharmaine wrote: "hello everyone, I'm Sharmaine, I'm not new here in Goodreads, but I never joined any book club, this is my first time join a book club, i was searching for a Filipino book club, and I'm lucky I fou..."Me too. Im reading The Book Thief. So far, so good.
Umm, I know this is late since I've been in this group for months (this was the first book club I joined...or group...whatever) and I was not that active in groups (until I turned 18). So I'm going to introduce myself, I hope you don't mind. I'm Rin and I joined GR last January since it was recommended by a long time friend and I'm thankful since it made finding a book to read easier for me.
Hi Manu, I haven't read King and Rice yet. Oops. Any recos for starters? :)Hi Rin, of course nobody would mind. Post lang ng post. :)
Hi Manu! We're also looking forward to read with you :)Hi Rin! Welcome to the group, although, I'm a newbie here as well.

Angus: I felt the same way too I watch the movie first before reading the book, the title was so compelling. Well, it takes time for me to appreciate the book tho, I don't like the pacing of the book, it's just so slow. And I really hate it, but I keep on reading it. Its good, I love it, I still cried at the ending even though I know what will be the ending of the book. hahahaDevi: I'm glad you're reading it too Devi, so.. How was it?
Hello everyone! So many newbies! If you are not reading, meaning in your reading break, do not be shy and explore the different threads in this group.

Ooh, Stephen King. I haven't read his books (not much into horror) but I like the movie adaptations of his stories. :) The only horror author I've read is Edgar Allan Poe.
Haha!i like tito boy! IF! there's abunda after tito boy. Sharot. Thanks for welcoming us, ngayon ko lang medyo naeexplore, walang facebook dito sa land of the intsik.
Nakakatuwa ung mga diskusyon sa mga libro, you know what's the next book to read when you are clueless what to read next!
Whoa, I never thought this group existed!! I'll be glad to participate in this Sept F2F book cause I bought it quite recently and I've have been hunting it down for ages :) Hope I could meet a lot of you more! :D *Hirap kasi pag di nagbabasa kaibigan niyo eh, haha. :)
