Hi! Im Heather, I've been using Goodreads for quite a while now but fairly new to this group! I hope to gain a few friends who share the same love and enthusiasm for books as I do. i am long done with Chick Lit and Fantasy books but if something interesting came up, im flexible but currently, I'm into Contemporary, Mystery and Young Adult. I'm a big fan of Mitch Albom, David Levithan and Stieg Larsson.
hei everyone. my name's ARJAYE. books are my first loves. im into watching series and blogging and hanging out but books definitely eat most of my leisure time, that is if im out of work and no errands to do. :) im challenging myself to read at least 30 books this year, but one of my friend said its too small.. so im increasing it to 80. haha goodluck to me! i read all kinds, because i believe that all books have the right to be read, but not all of them u will like or love. so that, my reading is limitless. as long as i started leafing through it, i will try my very best to finish it no matter what. :) good cases for the books that i finished overnight, thats how i show my love for it. :) i hope that through TFG, i will find new books to love and new friends to share it with. :)

Hi! Books have been my passion from the very first time I held (not necessarily read) one in my hands. I am a mood reader--Judith Mcnaught and LOTR are my comfort reads. I walk down memory lane with Uncle Arthur books, Junior Brittanica stories, Enid Blyton, Margaret Mitchell, Judy Blume, Ayn Rand and Louisa May Alcott. Personal finance, travel tomes, the Bible, self-help books fascinate me and so do biographies. My taste is varied and eclectic. I am not an intellectual and read mostly for pleasure, entertainment and knowledge is a happy byporduct. Today I am a mother of 4 adults and grandmother. Books have kept me dreaming, eager and always feeling young. Everyday is an adventure with books and i look forward to exploring this world with EL James, JK Rowling, Stephenie Meyer, Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth and you. :)

I'm an almost a wk old member of this group wondering around about what people in this wonderful cluster of islands of the Philippines mostly read about and discovering people with similar interest as mine and what are their thoughts about the reading materials encountered.Currently I'm more of a Y.A. Fantasy and rom com reader. Books always made me sleepy in the past but nonetheless, since about nine months ago(when I only got classes of 3hrs twice a wk and finished my practicum training) I began loving this hobby of mine sleeping late, lessening my tv and computer time, multitasking cooking and reading or eating and reading, and bringing a bigger bag than usual for my book for the day.
So yes, I had a change of heart since then about reading. And I'm happy to belong in a group with the same passion as I have. Hope to know more of you guys.

Hello! My name is Maria. I am turning 13 this month (29th of June), and I really love books. The first book that got me into reading was Chicken Soup for the Kids' Soul. Basically, the Chicken Soup for the Soul series got me into reading books.I love reading YA, fiction, fantasy, horror, suspense, romance (but i do not crave romance at the moment bc SCHOOL. i'm fine with it, tho. i don't want to spend my teenage years moping about some boy.), mystery, dystopian, tearjerkers, humor, and basically any book that's interesting to me.
Aside from books, I love music. Punk rock/rock/metal/electronic/classical/dubstep. Books and music are the things that literally make me feel alive. I also love bands! Especially Fall Out Boy. I'm also a huge fan of Lindsey Stirling (she has a new song+album entitled 'Shatter Me', which kinda fits Tahereh Mafi's Shatter Me book).

Favourite authors are definitely John Green, Veronica Roth, Rachel Hawkins & Becca Fitzpatrick.

Hello! My name is Daisy and 25 years old. I'm still a college student. I took up Fine Arts as my 1st degree and currently taking up Computer Science as my 2nd. I read all kinds of book genre. Well, as long as the story piques my interest...I'd go for it. My personal faves are classic, fantasy, fiction, historical novel and a bit of YA + romance. Sometimes I read children's novel and manga (although I'm a hardcore anime fan).
Hmmmmm.... aside from reading books during my spare time, I love to draw, paint and play the piano.

I have OCD and typically read as a controlled outlet. This typically means that I'll read 30 or 40 books nonstop and then stop reading for months on end.
