Shed (shedaine) | 2 comments Hi everyone! I'm Shed. I'm a fan of the horror/mystery/thriller genre. I only started widening my book genre horizon when I was in College. I've read all of Sidney Sheldon's books. I love Simon Beckett. The first book I read was Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice. Read that when I was in 4th grade. Pretty mature stuff for a kid back then. That's why I read it again when I was in high school. Major 'Ahhh ganun pala yun' moment for me. I'm not really a fan of trilogies but I seem to be finishing some YA trilogies lately (Shatter Me and Divergent). I'm currently reading The Book Thief by Markus and I have Nos4ra2 by Joe Hill on queue. Hmm. What else? I play the guitar, sing, write and do crazy-ass hand-eye/left-right coordination tricks. Sadly, I tend to read ebooks a lot. I'm too stingy to buy books. I want my books used and already leafed through. Somehow, brand new books doesn't seem appealing to me. I am nice and I don't bite and i'm typing this during my work hour so I'm definitely pasaway.

My twitter username is @shedaine so we can talk there. Okay. that's about it. I welcome myself to this group. LOL

I'm also trying other authors. Have you read some of Simon Beckett's work? I kinda like my books dark and morbid but highly educational. LOL Nice to know we share the same taste!

not yet really, though it seems the genre is same as Patricia Cornwell's murder mystery/thriller novel, therefore, I would definitely like it.

Mugs Hernaez (gracefulgracey) | 1 comments IDK if this group is still active seeing the dates (March 2009) would tell me that it is not. But if it is still active I would really love to be part of this group and share the books that I love.
I'm Mugs and I'm a reader (Obviously, that's why I'm here)I love reading book series, and the stories that captures my active imagination. I'm into books that broadcasts the secrets of "The Other World", a supernatural phenomenon that even the brightest minds can't unravel.

So, please tell it is still active :) and let us talk about the books that make us believe in love and eternity and infinity and heaven and hell, in vampires and werewolves and wizards and witches and casters and nephilims and shadowhunters and gods and goddesses. <3

Jen Suguitan (jensuguitan) | 3 comments Hi! My name is Jen. :) I've been a Goodreads member since 2012 but I only started using it frequently this year.

I work for a Public Relations firm but when I'm not working, I either write, read, or watch TV Series (Castle, The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, and Arrow fan!).

I read almost anything but most of my current reads are currently YA, NA, or Romance. My mom gets a bit upset when I bring new books because I don't have enough space for everything (and I have a lot of unread books too.)so I usually opt for ebooks. :)

That's pretty much it. :)
