Hi My name is Louie short for Louella. I hate my name so please do call me Louie. I am 19 taking up Political Science in the University of the East.

I obviously love to read. My genres are fiction, fantasy, and YA. I spend most of my time if not reading about politics, I read about the books that I like in my kindle since I cannot afford to buy them all. I also spend most of my time hanging out in the bookstore and the library. I'm a sucker for books I know.

I seldom read tagalog novels but I love some of the Filipino authors especially Ambeth Ocampo. I love his writings. He amuse me so much and because I love Rizal.

Hello to all! :)

The real name is Cory, i joined goodreads last year but i've been actively updating my status just early this year.
It's really nice to know that there's a lot of pinoy readers here to share our thoughts with and to read reviews/recommendations about books. :)

Hmm, as for the type of books that I usually read, I've always been influenced by the films that I watch such as classics,sci-fi, general & historical fictions, biographies, romantic comedies/military romance & documentaries..not to mention every book which depicts the existence of God.

Sa mga vampire diaries/twilight fans dito, please please don't hate me..:) i'm really not fond of reading/watching these kinds of masterpiece..Yun lang talaga ang hindi ko binabasa but generally I enjoy reading any kinds of literature. Kahit magazine or blogs pa yan, fascinated ako jan. :)

I started this addiction when I was in high school. I usually spend my time inside our library..reading Harry Potter series and classic books..Our school's library is one of the best in the Philippines..i guess :) But during my high school years, we were only allowed to borrow and read the books from the Secondary Department, I had to ask for a 'Permission Note' from our librarian so that I can be able to look for/borrow books from the College department. At that time, most of my 'handful' savings goes to books sale for lesser prices kaya yung mga gusto kong books wala ako...kasi mas mahal yun! :))
But when I got to earn money, I see to it that I will not deprive myself from having the chance to read more books.

I'm currently connected to a WebDev company and a part time prof in my alma matter. I'm also taking up my postgraduate studies. So, in between these roles, I always carry a book to read or get connected in the net to read reviews and recommendations :)

@LS I laughed at the "sparkle" thing... :)) Anyways, I'd love to read the Hunger Games, but unfortunately it's already sold out (at least in the bookstores that i've been)..That's actually on my wishlist last Christmas but the guy who picked my name couldn't find a copy either..so he gave me the Hunger Games Companion instead..

I think they have HBs in BestSellers SM Annex. But books 2 & 3 lang ata nakita ko dun. Daan ako tomorrow, sabihan kita kung kumpleto nila. :)
