And I'm from Pangasinan, (just a small town boy living in a lonely world.. :P) most of my friends here don' really see the joys of reading a good novel. So I'm really glad to find this group!

It feels so frustrating when I read a really good book and I really want to talk about it tapos walang nakaka-appreciate or nakakarelate. :(

I've been reading since I was a kid. This year, sobrang lumuwag ang schedule ko, kaya sobrang daming books ang nabasa ko.

I'm a huge fan of fiction, sci-fi and adventure. and also comedy.

well, these are some of the books or series that I've read,

-Harry Potter Series (Best. Series. Ever. I've grown up with the series kaya super special to sakin. :))
-His Dark Materials Trilogy
-Chronicles of Narnia
-Series of Unfortunate Events, 39 Clues, Spiderwick Chronicles, Alex Rider Series (Kid's Stuff, i know, but I still love these)
-Inheritance Cycle (just finished reading Inheritance yesterday and i LOVE it!)
-Hunger Games Trilogy (AWESOME!)
-Chaos Walking Trilogy (The ending was great.:D worth the wait hehe)
-City of (Bones, Glass & Ashes) Basta yung first three lang. :D
-Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons and The Lost Symbol
-Percy Jackson Series (basta all seven books, hehe :P)

I can't list them all, and of course, hindi naman lahat ng binabasa ko eh series. these are just the ones that kinda stood out. hehe

I hope I can find friends who can suggest other wonderful reads. na nakakarelate din sa isang bookworm na tuladko. :D

Hi guys!!! I just joined the group!!! ^^ I hope I'll have a great experience here. Anyway, I've been a member of the site since July and well, I haven't actually been using the site's, uhmm. . . social features--I have no friends, I have only 2 groups, that includes this one, and I don't even try adding friends. All I've been doing, I guess, was just using the site as a way of keeping track of the books I read. And so, here I am trying to actually use these social features. And I'm starting right here. ^^

Anyway, I'm Gabriel. I love books (obvious naman 'di ba?) and I love collecting them. I like reading science fiction, fantasy, horror/thriller, and sometimes, even a bit of young adult novels. But. I never read romance! Yeah, I don't like reading romance. I don't even go near those novels. No seriously, I can't stand reading those kind of novels. I feel awkward reading them.

My absolute favorite book is The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. I really loved this book, it even made me cry in the end. Also, one of my favorites is the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series by Rick Riordan. I think that these books are so cool!!! Another series that I absolutely love is The Monstrumologist series by Rick Yancey. I love the gore, the horror, and the thrill I get from reading The Monstrumologist! I honestly almost puked when I was reading the first book in the series. Yep, it's that gory!!! But the book that's most important to me is The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan. This book was released on my birthday!!! And when I found that out, I almost shouted out loud but I held it or else my parents would have thought I was some crazy lunatic shouting at nothing! xD I also got this on my birthday, so, the book ages as I do!!! I absolutely love that!!! o(^.^o)(o^.^o)(o^.^)o

I am Frigga, 14, isang third year high school sa Quezon City Science High School.

When I was younger, I never liked reading books. Nagfocus lang ako sa anime and stuffs. The only books I read were those books na required sa school. Pero last month, I met a new friend who loves reading. She recommended me some books, pero 'di ko pa nababasa yung mga na-recommend nya. hehe.

So, ayun. Kailan lang ako naging interested sa books. Naging interested ako mainly because of John Grisham (A Time To Kill was one of the required books to read in our school and I loved it) and Dan Brown (someone special gave me a hardcover copy of The Da Vinci Code and told me I would like it, but no, I actually loved it), so far my favorite writers.

I like fiction, mystery, adventure and romance stories. Mga binabasa ko ngayon: Mockingjay (ang ganda ganda ng Hunger Games!!) and Pride and Prejudice (required sa school, hehe)

Since ngayon ko lang na-discover ang wonderful world of reading, onti pa lang ang nababasa kong books. Sana mag-enjoy ako sa stay ko dito, at makahanap ng iba pang books na someday ay magiging favorites ko.:)

actually i didn't like reading books but thanks to m friend influence :) i prefer reading English books than my own language even though I'm reading some i dont know i just don't like it much (Filipinong - Filipino pa naman ako ) . i like Stephenie Meyer Books and The Little Prince by A.Saint-Exupery

well i like books that is somehow related to Angels, Vampires, Werewolves, Fairies and other mythical and supernatural creatures that seem to only live in my minds. hehe .
now im currently reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho's i heard its interesting ee :)
