Leyah (WholockianHobbit) | 365 comments Ok, so who's in?

message 2: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments I'm in!

message 3: by Eris Vianney (new)

Eris Vianney (SeeYouSpaceCowboy) | 1188 comments I'm in! Although, I'm not sure what Greenwich Time is. Is that like the 24 hour clock?

message 4: by Leyah (last edited Oct 29, 2012 01:13AM) (new)

Leyah (WholockianHobbit) | 365 comments Greenwich Mean Time is the world's standard time. Here's a link: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/info...

We'll have to use the GMT date too, as some people might get it wrong. And we don't want that!

So everyone use this link! Unless, of course, you know a better site.

Maybe we should start gathering half an hour before?

:) It's eleven hours behind for me, what about you?

message 5: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (WholockianHobbit) | 365 comments So me, Ebony and Eris are in, who else?

message 6: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments OMG THIS IS MY IDEA OF COURSE I'M IN

message 7: by Ready, (new)

Ready, Pond? | 1 comments I'm in! I was just talking to Axela on Omegle :)

message 8: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments Heya!
See, group? I will recruit an army! :P

message 9: by Eris Vianney (new)

Eris Vianney (SeeYouSpaceCowboy) | 1188 comments Booyah! Okay, I'm seven hours behind for GMT. We're going to need a good day for everyone. Something soon, so we don't lose everyone for our mission. What's a day that's free for you all? I am free pretty much every day.

message 10: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments Depends on the time. Every day after 1:45 pretty much.

message 11: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments Well... Okay, between 120:50-145, and then I'm on a bus, and after that from 3:30-5:00 every day. More free time on weekends, though, usually from noon - 5:00 if not more.

message 12: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments I'm five hours behind. In GMT I'm usually open at 8-11 pm and of course all day Saturday and not on Sunday at all. I have really hectic Sundays :)

message 13: by Leyah (last edited Oct 29, 2012 01:46PM) (new)

Leyah (WholockianHobbit) | 365 comments I'm not free on the weekend, as in Australia it's the Melbourne Cup Day and I'm off to visit family. What about Thurday? I'm free for 8-11pm, if I have to, which in GMT it is 7-10am.

Just a thought - should we use Skype or some other type of chat? It's just in Goodreads you have to reload the page every so often.

message 14: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments I don't have Skype or any other form of chat unless you count yahoo.....

message 15: by Leyah (last edited Oct 29, 2012 02:35PM) (new)

Leyah (WholockianHobbit) | 365 comments Skype's quick and easy to download, no adversiments either; it's also free, which is more than you can say for some types of chat.

http://beta.skype.com/en/download-sky...

message 16: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments STILL... I'm bound by my parents' rules and I can't have a Skype.

message 17: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments I don't think I can either. But we can just use gr I think and it'll be fine

message 18: by Eris Vianney (new)

Eris Vianney (SeeYouSpaceCowboy) | 1188 comments I can't use Skype as well. I am obliged to follow my parents rules, or it's "Vale, computer." Here should be fine. Unless anyone wants to use my favorite book-sharing website, LibraryThing! :D

message 19: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments Hmmm I'll check it out sometime!

message 20: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (MissWannaReadALot) | 1507 comments TWO MONTHS UNTIL THE NEXT DOCTOR WHO EPISODE!!!

message 21: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments That could be good...or it could be bad. Do you see the TARDIS half full or half empty?

message 22: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (Steampunk) | 774 comments I am in, but I cannot use it and I do not yet have LibraryThing.

message 23: by Autumn-Rain (new)

Autumn-Rain (arsymphony) | 5 comments I don't have LibraryThing yet, but I'm in! And I am behind... six seasons. I just transitioned from Eccleston to Tennant. I'm GMT-5:00, so GMT 19:00-4:30. And I may be a Floridian, but I've got an accent. A cross between Adam's and Captain Jack's.

message 24: by Autumn-Rain (new)

Autumn-Rain (arsymphony) | 5 comments BTW, just passed a car with plate number:
THEDO CTOR.
my other car is a TARDIS

message 25: by Autumn-Rain (new)

Autumn-Rain (arsymphony) | 5 comments Got LibraryThing.

message 26: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments I almost bought a plate rim thingy that said that!! Sadly I have no money

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Sooooooo..... If we're calling the Doctor (This thought I am totally! in on!!) do we have his number?

message 28: by Eris Vianney (new)

Eris Vianney (SeeYouSpaceCowboy) | 1188 comments We're going to send a psychic message that will end up on his psychic paper.

message 29: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (MissWannaReadALot) | 1507 comments Yeah!! :D

message 30: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (MissWannaReadALot) | 1507 comments ...but seriously what are we doing?

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Eris ~ Time Lord Unvictorious wrote: We're going to send a psychic message that will end up on his psychic paper."

Of course! Why didn't I think of that!?
@Janeen: I'm not totally sure, maybe some meditational mantra? "Doctor! Doctor! Doctor! Come to us! Doctor! Doctor!"?!

message 32: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (MissWannaReadALot) | 1507 comments I WILL AWAKEN MY TELEPATHIC POWERS! DOCTOR COME HITHER!

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

COME HITHER! (You do not know how happy I am to know that someone else says "come hither"!!!) TELEKINESIS AND TELEPATHY COME FORTH AND REVEAL YOURSELF UNTO ME SO THAT THE DOCTOR CAN COME AND SAVE US ALL!!

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

That was a bit dramatic...

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (Charlie_Awesome) | 147 comments I stomped "Doctor!" In the snow in my backyard today. Hopefully he'll see it.
(Snow! In New York! In November!)

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

That's epic. No snow where I live yet BUT I WANT IT!!!

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (Charlie_Awesome) | 147 comments Snow is amazing :) last week I had a hurricane.
Great for sending messages to the sky :)

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

Right! Sandy, yeesh, that looked bad.

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (Charlie_Awesome) | 147 comments Had no power for a week :p

message 40: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments Holy cats! A week? I bet all your food went bad!

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

I can only imagine. The worst I've ever had was when we had, like, 60-70 mph winds and our canopy blew into the neighbors fence and we lost power for barely even a day...

message 42: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments I lived through Charlie. :/ I don't know abou' Sandy but I think they were classified as roughly equal?

message 43: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (MissWannaReadALot) | 1507 comments I've seen Sandy on the news. Thankfully we don't live anywhere near those places; it sounds horrible. I'm praying for everyone over there!!

Please come hither into my aurora of hitherness so we can celebrate saying hither.
XD

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

*moving into the aura of hitherness* HITHER!

message 46: by Eris Vianney (new)

Eris Vianney (SeeYouSpaceCowboy) | 1188 comments Oh, I like the word hither. HITHER!

Although, did you know that the word "wherefore" does not actually mean "where." It means "why"! And that is completely not related to the subject. I'm awful.

message 47: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments SO. TIMES AND DATES.

message 48: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (WholockianHobbit) | 365 comments Eris ~ Time Lord Unvictorious wrote: "Oh, I like the word hither. HITHER!

Was there ever any man thus beaten out of season,
When in the why and the wherefore is neither rhyme nor reason? - A Comedy Of Errors, William Shakespeare.

I just peformed in a short play consisting of Shakespeare quotes, and I just realised!

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

TIME AND DATES!

Hmmm.... which time zone are we going of on? Did we say Greenwich? Yes, I think so, but which time? 12 hour or 24 hour?

message 50: by Janeen-san (new)
