Dasha (Dasha20) | 10 comments To recommend a few books for your growing to-read list:

1. The Taker by Alma Katsu
2. Alex Cross by James Patterson (I haven't read it but more than 2 people have convinced me to do so)
3. Kiss by Ted Dekker
4. Immanuels Veins by Ted Dekker
5. Boneman's Daughters by Ted Dekker
6. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (another I have yet to read)

If you do read one of the mentioned books, please let me know what you thought about them/it. Im curious about your opinions. ^-^

Miz (mizzander) I've read so many delightful books this year as I went about trying to extend my genres. I finished an excellent book last night that had me in tears constantly Home Front but one of my surprise favourites from the year was Let's Pretend This Never Happened: A Mostly True Memoir which was OUTSTANDINGLY hilarious!! Also a nice book was Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet which is deeper than your normal chick lit/beach read, but also recommended.

Here is my top five for the year. My reading year overall was somewhat disappointing.

1) World Without End by Ken Follett (this series is really, really good)
2)The Camel Club by David Baldacci
3) A Year of Fog by Michelle Richmond
4) The Anatomist's Apprentice by Tessa Harris
5) Red Hook Road by Ayelet Waldman

Though these were good books, next year, I would like to struggle to make my top five list.
