I loved this entire series! My favorite books would probably be the Goblet of Fire and The Half Blood Prince! What are your favorite books of this beautifully written amazing series?

I would agree with Half Blood Prince as my favourite and then Goblet of Fire second. Deathly Hallows was a bit of a disapointment, I feel the first three books are a bit 'young' (when I have tried re-reading in the past these books just don't 'age' well) - and I really was not a fan of Order of the Phoenix.I think Half Blood Prince was one of the more intersting of the books, whilst Goblet opened the way for the series to get a lot darker.
I love all of them! In order, my favourites are probably:Goblet of Fire
Chamber of Secrets
Deathly Hallows
Order of the Phoenix
The Half Blood Prince
Philosopher's Stone
Prisoner of Azkaban
DH is my favorite! I've found that people tend to either prefer the odd numbers (1,3,5,7) or the even numbers (2,4,6). I'm not sure why that is, but I've noticed it anyway. I prefer the odd numbers, personally.
Prisoner of Azkaban!!! I <3 Remus & Sirius! (But who doesn't...) It's also the book where they talk about James the most...but you're probably sick of hearing about him from me by now. ;}

True.
True.
i liked them all the same. Chosing one would be like chosing a year in my life because i'm so close to them all.
I think my favorite is Prisoner of Azkaban. Nobody dies and Harry adds a much-needed father figure to his life, Sirius.

You forgot Goblet of Fire ;)
I have to agree, the Deathly Hallows was probably my favorite too, it recapped everything up so nicely, answered all those mind-boggling questions, and most of all, it was the PERFECT ending. All was well for me :)

I love all the books but I prefer the Sorcerer's stone, because it was the introduction to all the story
Something must be wrong with me because I actually liked Order of the Phoenix the most and The Half-Blood Prince the least.
Okay, I decided that I really do actually like Order of the Phoenix the best. My least favorite was the Prisoner of Azkaban.
I love them all, but Prisoner of Azkaban really drew me in the most. It was scary, it had really awesome characters, Hermione really got a chance to have a big part in it, and it had Sirius.
Deathly Hallows, because it just really tied up the loose ends, and there was so much more in it - the Deathly Hallows, Voldemort's quest for the Elder Wand, etc. In a lot of ways it was a lot more 'academic' if you get what I mean.

I agree with Susan and Hadley Star--Prisoner of Azkaban is the best. The plot is the most intriguing, it doesn't revolve around Voldemort for once, her writing and characterization had hit their strides, and the mystery was actually really good and surprising. My only qualm was the anvilicious 'hints' about Lupin's condition--other than that, it was top-notch.
my order best (top) worst (bottom)prisoner of askaban
DH
Order of the pheonix
goblet of fire
half blood prince
sorcerous stone
chamber of secrets
My favorite is the The Prisoner of Azkaban because just once you think that Harry will get to live with someone he's related to (not really since Sirius is his godfather) so it makes you really want Sirius to be innocent. That's probably the reason why the Order of the Phoenix is my least favorite (this has nothing to do with the way she wrote it) I just was so sad that Sirius Black died in the end. Besides that I like all of the books of Harry Potter because J.K. Rowling is an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G author
THIS IS SO HARD!can I just say my least favourite honestly??
Ofcourse I love the entire series and it is PERFECT, but I did not love
the Half Blood Prince the way I loved the rest of the series,
I love chamber of secrets, prisoner of azkaban and goblet of fire all equally
and then deathly hallows, and then philosopher's stone and then order of the phoenix!
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is my favourite book from HP series and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was disappointing and epilogue was awful.
I love all of them but being Ronald Weasley-biased that I am, I'd say Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows are the ones I loved more. ;)
My all time favorites are The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Order of the Phoenix, I love the emphasis on Sirius!!!
am crazy about the whole series , but of all i may choose the prisoner of azcaban & the deathly hallow
The whole series is great but my favorite is the 6th because it is the spark of happiness and importance before they go on their dangerous quest.
I agree, that really had the power to be an amazing book on its own without Harry Potter even being a series (God forbid though!) A triwizard tournament idea is wonderful!
The Prisoner of Azkaban.
I think that was the book that made me addicted to HP and it was the first darker, more adult one (which I enjoyed since I read all books in my twenties).
Oh, and then Lupin was introduced, probably my favorite character.

really Lupin? I liked it coz Sirus was introduced but Lupin 2 I suppose!
The deathly hallows is my favorite one. I've read it 7 times! If you ask me any trivia question, I will be able to answer it.
Prisoner of Azkaban was Good. The twists and surprises- the truth about Scabbers <:() and Sirius :)) - were thrilling. Also Harry was THAT close to being with his godfather and finally would have a happy family life!!! This was the book that made me aware that JK was capable of writing ANYTHING and not all of it would be happy- but complex and exciting!!!
My order (from most to least favorite)Prisoner of Azkaban
Order of the Pheonix
The Goblet of Fire
The Deathly Hallows
The Half-blood prince
The Chamber of Secrets
The Sorcerer's Stone.
But I love them all.
The Half Blood Prince is definitely my favorite among all. It took a turn for the darker and the concept of the Horcruxes and Voldemort's past, plus the romantic tension between Ron and Hermione made it very memorable. Add to that Dumbledore's death scene and funeral, which makes it the most emotional too.
