Do you love reading and discussing the works of Ibero American authors but can't participate in the other threads? ... here is a space just for you.

I promise I'll get better with my Spanish. Until I do, I'll have to talk in here. Anyone up for Borges? Perhaps, Ficciones? It may be the strangest, most transcendental collection of stories I've ever read. Oh, and El Hacedor as well. Just magnificent and completely original works of art.

Jesse, that book still looking at me from the to-read shelf at home ... taunting me, saying pick me next ... pick me next!

But I think I'm going with El Juego del Angel next because of the poll.

I don't blame you, Lorena...haha. To be honest, when you decide to read Borges, you might be better off with nothing else on your plate. He can blow your mind.

Chloe (countessofblooms) | 1 comments I'm planning on cracking Labyrinths sometime this month and have Ficciones at the top of my to-acquire list. I've just heard too many great things about Borges to resist him any longer.

Let me know when you read, Logan. I'm in on those.
