J.S. Bailey (JSBailey) | 176 comments I thought I'd start a different version of the Build a Story game just so we can have more than one epic tale going on at the same time. In this version, add one entire sentence of any length you choose. Don't forget to copy and paste the previous sentences into your comment!

Story starter:

He never knew that a banana could double as a deadly weapon; but it was true.

He never knew that a banana could double as a deadly weapon; but it was true. He would practice using it in odd, different ways trying to make it appear more lethal.

It all began one morning as he was stocking the produce section at the Finneytown IGA.

Unfortunately, the banana had landed into a vat of nuclear waste before the farmer sent it to the grocery store with the other bananas. The banana had mutated into something lethal and deadly.

It was a slimy thing, tentacles coming from it, eyes shining, but as lifeless as a corpse. The squid-looking thing started to slide towards him, leaving a glowing green trail behind as it went.
