Having Amoz Zahavi a professor in my university, and having taken his course of his side of the principle, I'm a bit biased. From what you've read so far, what is your opinion on this theory?

Jason Pitre (jagash) | 2 comments I have read little in depth (any references handy?) but I do find his theory plausible. It applies to human social interaction and seems reasonable that it would work for animals as-well.

References: here's the book Zahavi himsel wrote, though I have a slightly different version in hebrew:

And there's always where it all started; the Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins.

Jason Pitre (jagash) | 2 comments Cool, I will have to read up one those. I admit that I haven't actually had a chance to read "The Selfish Gene" yet and I probably should.

Thanks. :)
