Chad, I don't have copies yet but it is available on Amazon. After November 15th, I will have copies and Barnes and Noble will have them available, too. Flap! is not yet an ebook - sticking with traditional paper for now but will work on the ebook format early 2013.

Hi Alison. Just catching up to see how your book release has gone. Our team didn't seem to have much time to write through the holidays (it's a side job for all three of us). But I'm looking for my first book to review this year, and I remembered our earlier conversation. I'd love to read & review "Flap" if you're still interested.

Is your book a picture book as well? I have story that I just published too and it is in verse with illustrations. Perhaps we could exchange them and review each other work. Hi Gusty! yes, my book is a picture book. Your idea sounds good, so if you want to send your PDF to maarfand@hotmail.com I'll do the same. You might also want to join a group that I formed a few days ago and it's called PAY IT FORWARD REVIEWS AND ADVISE. In it, we are going to try to share tips, resources and advised between self published authors and traditional published authors. I've also added a PAy it Forward review system, so instead of "swapping" reviews we get reviewed and we give a review to a fellow author. But we need people so it can work properly. :)

Hi all! I want to invite you to a recently formed group PAY IT FORWARD REVIEWS AND ADVISE for authors of Children's, Middle Grade, YA and Non Fiction for children. Just like other groups, it is meant to share experiences and resources between fellow authors. I have also added a Pay it Forward Review system. It will work something like this: you post your offer for review in a folder and ask interested people to message you. Once you pick two people to review you, you'll offer your review to two people. That way we are not swapping reviews and we are helping each other. But we need people to participate, so if this sounds good, please join us too, it can never hurt to be in several groups!

OK, let's give it a try..I'll send my tale to the above hotmail address. Bear in mind that some of the illustrations in what I send you have been modified and are a little different from those in the published version, but the text is the same.
And yes, I may be very interested in your PAY IT FORWARD group. But I'm so addled by the intricacies of this computer stuff that I lose my way half the time. It seldom does what I expect it to do and it seems to enjoy my confusion (I know these things are alive). Reminds me of a girlfriend I had once.
