Blood and SandI <3 Baojia, I liked his book. I oddly am not feeling twitchy @ skipping the 1st book of the series. O_o
Llaph wrote: "I grabbed that series when 1 st was free . Tales of the Wendigo has all of the shorts in it, I'm sure for the most part. It lacks Damged and collection mostly of nate shorts for $2.99 you can onl..."Cheers Llaph, will check it out. Can't quite decide what I think about Zara which ich probably good.
@Claire hope it all went well; what are you after?
Finished:Building From AshesBuilding From Ashes
Whiskey sour is the shorts collection I was thinking of . The diff macs is one of the things I like about the series.
@Anna Thanks! It did. I'm thinking of picking Cal Leandros back up. I'm really in the mood for something kick ass like that. The problem with Cal is that the last book I read, Black Sheep, put me off halfway through because I really hate the new villain. But hopefully Grimm or whatever his name is will go away.
I finished reading King of Thorns
. I liked it though I did start to get a little tired of Jorg repeatedly saving the day at the last possible minute. I really love the world-building in this series, and wish there was more about the Builders. The little bit of info that's been trickled out makes me desperately curious.I've started The Red Knight
It's a nice big fat fantasy novel based around a company of sellswords in a medieval world. There's lots of armour, sword fights, magic, dragons, highly intelligent bears and dead nuns! :D

'Diff macs'?
Feeling much better and I home from traveling which helps a lot. Finished reading A Demon Bound, Satan's Sword,Elven BloodDevil's Paw, and Imp Forsaken I really liked this series lots of lol moments sometimes I wanted to slap Sam but enjoyed them.
Finished Wicked as They Come It was...alright. Read Hounded I loved it!! The talking dog was one of the best parts, hands down. In the middle of Back from the Undead. It just doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be.And @Zeenat, I have heard only good things about the future Toby books so I'm looking forward to it!! I feel like Toby and Tybalt are like Rachel and Trent and it drives me NUTS.
Finished Kicked the Candle (Monk Hill Witch) gave it 3.5 stars. Now reading Every Witch Way But Wicked by Amanda M. Lee. The first book was really good, and I love books with little humor.
Finished:The Care and Feeding of Griffins (Lords of Arcadia, #1),The Wizard in the Woods (Lords of Arcadia, #2),The Roads of Taryn MacTavish (Lords of Arcadia, #3), andThe Army of Mab (Lords of Arcadia, #4) by R. Lee Smith
I don’t have words to say ‘cept … man oh man. Her books always blow me away at first till I digest them. They tend to be very brutal and violent at times. I can’t help myself though, as soon as I start one I neglect everything else to finish the book ASAP. Reading a series was not the greatest of ideas. Lol, least I still showered right?
Definitely not happy shiny books and the differences between good and bad are markedly shown. No happyhappy without the suffering bad stuff first, during, and maybe after to keep it going.
Her harpies were a riot though. Crapping like pigeons on the enemy army as a tactic, plus being massively foul mouthed and crass. Lol
Now is the time for happy shiny though … inc How to Run With a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper I am thinking!
Kindle keeps getting me sucked into these series by putting the first one on sale or free. Finished PricelessImmune: A Rylee Adamson Novel (Book 2) Raising Innocence: A Sexy Urban Fantasy Mystery Shadowed Threads (A Rylee Adamson Novel Blind Salvage. While I didn't have time to be sucked into a series and I really need some sleep I loved these books. @laph those books look good adding to my to read list.
