OK. I finished Almost Moon by Alice Sebold. Has anyone else read this? I loved her book Lovely Bones and ate it with cream up until the ending then I thought it went all gee-whangy. I can't remember the ending of Lucky, which I also read and also quite enjoyed. The premise of this book is a woman of about my age who is caring for her elderly mother. During one particularly bad moment, she smothers her. The book follows the woman throughout this ordeal and gives glimpses into her childhood. AGain, though, at the end, it seemed to just go a little odd. What is it? I would love to hear your comments especially if you are a Sebold fan or have read any of her books.
