Not to be rude, but it is spelled 'a lot'.

I have a similar thing where physical contact slightly worries me, as I'm never entirely sure I won't get stabbed.

And now, I must leave.

What time zone [read; country] are you in?

John The Totally Awesome | 322 comments So, I was handing out candy this Halloween, and I noticed that the Twix bars came individually.
Meaning without a partner.
Since the beginning of time, Twix bars have come with a partner, a friend, a soulmate, until the people at Twix Incorporated or wherever decided to rip two brothers apart and send them on their separate ways.
And the call it "fun size".
HA!

In Australia, Halloween is not much of a big thing. The max is probably themed parties. The rest of us just kind of ignore it.

Darn Hurricane Sandy.

Tell me about it

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 376 comments Cool.
It's not a bad place, we usually don't get hurricanes.
LIPA (the power company) is just annoying.

You have the power to make those who anger you perish in flames? How'd you swing that?

Are they still legal in America? I don't pay much attention to legal stuff, but I seem to remember you could carry them around. But I could be wrong.

All in all, not much!

Allison (allibean) | 321 comments From a metal dragon... I'd start the funeral plans, but we'd need a body for that.

Allison (allibean) | 321 comments I keep meaning to get around to it but I'm excited. When I'm excited about reading a book I put it off for a while, so I read it at just the right time. Also I'm afraid of disappointment. It's kind of like Christmas.

I love the cliches, and the general festivities. I only wish it would snow at Christmas. Or even if both hemispheres had the same seasonal timeline, so it was winter. Spin on a different axis, planet!

You said once that your religion was Whovian-ism.

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 376 comments Yes, yes it is. Whovians celebrate Christmas, except we live in fear of a alien invasion that day.

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) | 376 comments I sort of just made that up, but I think most other Whovians woud agree. Do you? Lol.

message 146: by Allison (new)

Allison (allibean) | 321 comments I love christmas too. When my mum wasn't up to it one year, I kind of ended up in charge of the holidays (excluding the actual day) and the responsibility stuck. So now I clean the house and do all the decorating and bake lots of christmas themed shortbread. It can be kind of fun. I miss getting a stocking, though. Plus this year will be different and I don't know how that'll turn out.

message 147: by Allison (new)

Allison (allibean) | 321 comments They're actually Christmas themed pillowcases. I stopped getting one when I turned thirteen.

Allison (allibean) | 321 comments It's the middle of summer in Australia. Sometimes it rains, once it hailed but mostly it's too hot to even contemplate taking that new bike outside.

This is so unfair. I love the cold, yet live in the upper half of Australia. Oh well, when I go to Uni I'll be further south,
