So, if you follow the Strange Chemistry Twitter feed or website, you'll know we've been discussing the idea of a YA convention, to be held next year in the UK?

My question is - what panels would you like to see? What subjects do you want authors to discuss?

Bear in mind your replies could seriously direct the planning of the convention and what is offered!

For aspiring authors, the best panels would be instructive, how to plot, how to write a synopsis, how to make 3 dimensional characters, etc.

For readers, more discussion about the characters in existing books, which actors they'd have in a "dream cast of their books" more fun, interactive things...

YA genre-blenders, since it's easier to do in YA as they're all just shelved under "teen."

Edgy YA - the lines people are investigating in YA. Looking at taboos and ways that YA challenges that.
