De There was a series published in the mid- to late-90s that carried into the 2000s. Historical fiction written like diaries from the people of the time. Cleopatra was one book in the series. It ranged in time and place; everything from Civil War America to ancient Egypt to Henry VIII England. I think that they were also divided into "boys" and "girls" within the series.

Yinzadi | 27 comments Second Dear America and Royal Diaries.

There were also the spin-offs My America and My Name Is America, which might have been the source of some of the boy's journals.

Any ideas on how to shelve these? Or should we not shelve anything, and just mark it as solved?

Themis-Athena (Lioness at Large) (themis-athena) | 71 comments @Kate: Maybe just shelve the most popular book(s) of the original series, and perhaps one additional popular book for each of the spin offs?

@Adina: Glad to be of help! :)
