Effy | 25 comments On The Road. I forgot most of the novel and wanted to read it again before the movie comes out in December.

I'm planning to reread Prozac Nation, Girl Interrupted, and Through the Looking Glass. I might reread more. Technically I'll be rereading Anne of Green Gables, but last year I read a condensed version I bought in Philly. I knew the book was a bit thinner.

Cynan Jones (cynanjones) | 2 comments Always so many books you want to get to, but I made a real determination to re-read some recently.

The Story of a Shipwrecked Sailor by Gabriel García Márquez

To Have and Have Not by Ernest Hemingway

1933 Was a Bad Year by John Fante

When writing is this good, re-reading is a little like listening to music over and over. The more you hear it, the more you get from it.
