I really like the aspect of the brothers relationship in the McKinnen books. The way that they relate to each other and to their fellow rangers.
The relationshops that are written about with Iian and Morgan and their chosen women are sweet and touching. I love that she writes about strong women caught in a strange and dangerous time. The fierce dedication and love that the Brothers show toward them is wonderful. Although they try to protect them the feelings are definately mutual and recipricated. The women try over and over again to protect them and are completely dedicated to them. You find yourself wondering if people of the time loved each other the way the McKinnen's do in the books. I certainly hope so. To have the American nation settled and defended by such people is something I want to believe.
Of coarse it doen't hurt that the Men are strong physically and have long black hair and a scottish accent. Hot Hot Hot! Definately a Daniel Day Lewis in the Last of the Mohican's Film look alike. Hello!
As you can tell I'm a fan.

Dear Wendy,
Thanks so much for taking time to write and your sweet words. I'm so sorry
that it's taken me forever to get back to you!
I can't tell you what it means to me to hear that you've enjoyed my books. I
try very hard to write stories that bring history alive for people. I love
history myself, and to make it live and breathe is what's so enjoyable about
writing historicals. If they pique your interest in history, then that's
just a great little perk. :-)
Thanks again for your wonderful email. I really appreciate the feedback.
All my best,
Pamela

She's an awesome writer, isn't she? And her Romantic Suspense books are just as good.:)

My husband told me I was famous now because she wrote me back. hahaha
These books involve three Scottish brothers and take place during the French and Indian War in Colonial America.
