Most of the books I buy are from second hand book shops. I'm not so big on collecting, simply reading. I don't care where I find the book from. If I buy, then they are ones I really want to read but couldn't find from libraries both Sinhala and English.

The Lovely Bones is beautiful. made me cry.

I bought the trilogy too. Probably so that I can look back next year, and shake my head as to what an idiot i was.
Still, I can't help but think the plot of a child having a drug addicted mother, an abusive step father, who gets subjected to molesting in his teens and then therefore becomes a Dom, would have made a good read at the hands of a different author. also, without whiny Ms. Steele.

The premise for the 50 Shades Trilogy was Adult Fanfiction of "Twilight". E L James later changed the names to Ana and Christian :)Hence the whiny nature of Ana !!! and Ms.James' idea of Bondage seems to have come from a collage of Google articles.

True,James just ruined the whole plot line.& dragging the story and making it a trilogy was stupid since there was basically zero "meaningful" content! -.-

It is such a shame that authors such as E L James get commercial reward and recognition while many other, more worthy ones, struggle.
