Looking for recommended books by minority authors

Hi- After realizing that 98% of the books I read are by white authors, I'm trying to expand my horizons. Can anyone recommend books by minority authors? I tend to like well structured fantasy/ alien tech thrillers with a lot at stake. I tend not to read fantasy romance. Thanks!

Hey L.A. Banks was a sister and the characters are mixed too. Unluckily she passed away last year.

She wrote the Vampire Huntress series and other paranormal series... along with romance novels,and crime thrillers but under the other names. Her full name was
Leslie Esdaile Banks and most were close to this name.
