message 7: by Leesa (new)

Leesa (leesalogic) If I can get it without DRM and for less than $5, I'll go Amazon. Otherwise, I shop only for DRM-free epubs: Baen, Smashwords, AngryRobot, etc.

Lisa264544 | 46 comments I am a Kindle owner and an enthusiastic fan of the device. I look for non-DRM versions of my ebooks on websites like Fictionwise, All Romance, etc. and buy from Amazon as a last resort.

Susie M. Hanley | 13 comments I have an app on my smartphone that reads epub files, it connects to an online store where I get them. LOVE IT! I am never without something to read and if I get stuck somewhere with my kids I can pull open the latest book I am reading to them and we can pass the time lost in Harry Potter or something. I don't think I am ever going to by one of those e-readers!

I have both a Nook AND a Kindle (what can I say--serious reading junky here) so I shop lots of places. I will also visit authors web-sites and download any freebies that they have there (usually short stories set in whatever their series universe is.)

Kobo, but they are virtually extinct now

message 13: by Geoffrey (new)

Geoffrey Wakeling | 8 comments I mostly buy on Kindle. Although I have an iPhone, I like the iOS Kindle app, so I tend to download more books on there than on iTunes.

Shireen Nemnich (snemnich) | 19 comments Amazon Kindle. It's fast, easy and great buys.
