Is that where they brew Kilkenny beer?

message 20: by Ruby (new)

Ruby Barnes (rubybarnes) | 7 comments That's right, Robb. Although Kilkenny beer is really just for export. The Smithwicks brewery is in the city and the local brew is called Smithwicks - a bit less fizzy than Kilkenny, a bit smoother.

Fun fact - do you know that Vered and I have met for real and shared some very spicy Sichuan food last year right here in Birmingham, after we met via GoodReads? One day I intend to pay her a visit in Kenya, or wherever she decides to relocate to in the future :)

Junying | 27 comments Hi Harold - Albanians and Chinese used to be great friends - if you're old enough, you'd know that Albania used to be China's only friend and little brother in Europe :) I have not read the author you mentioned but I have watched Albanian films before and have a couple of Albanian friends here in the UK :)
