He has marks on the back of his hands in the shape of crescents to show he was born of the moon. His moon powers were taught to him by the great owl of light, Nu. Nu taught him all about his powers and trained Kayne under his wisdom. Otherwise, there's not much more to him.
Power: Uses beams of light as swords and other weapons

History: Markus grew up in a fairly normal house, until when he turned 7. His family all came down with some sort of disease, that to this day he doesn't know the name of. Because of his power he wasn't affected, but he took care of his family until they passed away. After that he raised himself.
