That I agree with. But the book is more about the structures of society and how a girl fits into it.
For me the traction of the story felt wrong, like things where happening at the wrong time because I still didn't get to see this happen or that. Does that make sense.
Eona was okay, like the first one. But the ending was kind of anti-climatic in my opinion.

Yes, the culture she built was incredible! No one can dispute that.
But yes, they just seemed to being doing things all at the wrong time.
