I'd do a bookmark one but I'm burnt out on new music at the moment.

Stuck in a Y2K Madonna and Faithless loop, myself.

In!

message 3: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 4034 comments I'm sad. I want music. I even have a GREAT theme for a shebang. Someone throw a book at me when we do music again.

message 4: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4289 comments Is the bookmark an actual bookmark?

message 7: by Jammies (new)

Jammies I'll happily send out some more sardines or anchovies. ;)

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Will somebody just give me a nudge if shebangs are happening. You know I love participating. Bugger it, I will send you all book marks anyway. You can't stop me!!!!!!

message 9: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6485 comments If it isn't to late Barb, I can do this one.

message 10: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4289 comments Shebang without me .

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Evie you should. It is lovely sending something off and receiving fun mail in return. These wonderful ladies make their own book marks. Not like me! I am a slacker!

Evie, are you sure?"

Next time perhaps raw potato Barb:)

I'm still getting aftershocks from a stressful year. I love the idea of making bookmarks though, so hopefully next round I will have the head space to think about it.

message 13: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) I can't believe I missed a bookmark shebang by a month! DRAT!

message 14: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Wait, Nov 2nd deadline...can I still get in?

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

I say definitely yes!

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments I'd love to join, if it's not too late!

message 18: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) How many? My Cricut and I will get to work!

message 19: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Its okay if I do more than one, as long as I only expect one back, yeah?

message 20: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Done.

message 21: by janine (new)

janine | 7715 comments Barb, do you object to receiving American dollars for the return postage? If you do, I can get some of the Canadian variety.

message 22: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments Barb, I mailed mine out today.

message 23: by Laurin (new)

I'll watch my mailbox ... see if it does anything interesting."

My mom got excited about my project and also made bookmarks. So, I included $5.00 to help cover any additional postage this may require.

Yay Laurin's mum.

Meels (amelia) Mr. Amy is just hoping I'll make him some as well. No church this week, so no Sunday School class to prepare for (I go a little overboard most weeks), so Saturday is my day to play! I'll mail them out next Monday.

(P.S. I promise not to make you ones with little Jesus' on a cross.) :)

message 26: by janine (new)

janine | 7715 comments Did anybody else just get them from the store? I'm starting to feel a little guilty for not putting more effort in.

message 27: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Janine, we'll love them! The fun is in the getting a bunch of different ones for the (8 copies of) 1 you sent out.

message 28: by janine (new)

janine | 7715 comments Yay! I mailed them together with the cds for the other shebang. Sleddogs are starting to improve.

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17333 comments Mod
Who am I mailing them to? What is the procedure?

message 30: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Umm, who in this shebang took part in the last bookmark shebang?

message 31: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6485 comments Aye.

message 32: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Nay.

But, I did finish yesterday & Mr. Amy is supposed to mail them today.

One of them are just okay, but the other one is CUTE!

message 33: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments Nay.

yay

message 35: by janine (new)

janine | 7715 comments I was in the first one.

message 36: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Does it really matter if you write "AIR MAIL" between Oregon and Ontario? Whatever, I did. Mr. Amy did mail them yesterday.

Why are we all saying if we were in the last one, please?

Jammies asked in msg #48

message 38: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6485 comments I'm hoping to finish mine tonight.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Aye.

message 40: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Yes, but why did she ask?

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

I have a confession to make. I haven't started mine yet. I have a plan...it hasn't quite made it into reality. Can everyone wait? Or would it be better if I caught up with the next one?

Very, very sorry.

message 42: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Gail, mine aren't done either--I thought the mailing deadline was Nov. 2nd.

Amelia, I was asking because I wanted to know who already got fish. :)

message 43: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Fine by me.

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

Yay! Thanks Barb. I'll start making them right away.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

The hard work is done, I just need to get them in the mail! I'll send them express. :)

message 46: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4289 comments Wow. That was speedy, Gail.

message 47: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Those little tree frogs are FAST!

message 48: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Gail better not be running a tree frog sweat shop. >:(

message 49: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6485 comments Jammies wrote: "Gail better not be running a tree frog sweat shop. >:("

I think it may be her friend the Kookaburra.

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

The speed of completion may, I only say may, be reflected in the quality of the workmanship. The sweatshop frogs team doesn't perform well under pressure. However the resulting bookmarks are on their way.
