Please say hello and tell us/the group a little about yourself, and perhaps your history with punctuation. Maybe a love affair with ellipses/semicolons or a messy and harrowing divorce from exclamation marks - whatever, say hello and try... try to mention punctuation!

Lynn Hallbrooks (lynnhallbrooks) | 5 comments Hello everyone, I'm Lynn. I type out handwritten notes for my co-author David. He often puts quotation marks where they don't belong. Like in the middle of a person talking. I mean no he said or she said...just an extra quotation mark just hanging out where it doesn't belong.

I forgive him though because he is quotation challenged and maybe some day we will have a quotation anonymous meeting. Then again, if he was well versed in computers and language skills, he might not need me. Then I wouldn't get to meet all you love people with punctuation issues. :)

Lynn

I love that typo, Lynn - we are the "love people" with "punctuation issues". I might start a new discussion, best typos ever!

Thanks for dropping by... :)

It must have been an unconscious typo. I had it right in my head...darn keyboard; I thought I trained it better than that. ;)

You're welcome for stopping by and for being so kind about my typo.

Chris Ward (chriswardfictionwriter) Hello, I'm Chris; I'm an English teacher by trade and a writer/reader by night. I love semi-colons! I use them in my writing all the time. I think it makes me look intelligent; maybe readers think I look like an idiot. Who knows ...

Hi Chris,

I don't think it makes you look intelligent or an idiot, but your thought process (sincere or a joke) is very revealing/interesting!

Thanks for dropping by.
