Anyone else having nightmares about movie production?

Like.....exactly how do they intend to pull this off?
what would they rate it?
can this be the one instance the movie is actually better?

I've read the books, enjoyed them, but not a raging fan, and I will be the first to agree they're deplorable as far as writers craft goes, and yet....I feel like making this a movie may be a mistake?

I will most likely see it, but I feel I'll probably be going for a good laugh.

Personally, I don't see the book as a porno. There IS a STORY to these books and it's not a horrible one. Granted, the books could've been written way better, obviously. I think the movie has major potential of being better than the books. However, I can see the movie sucking to some degree depending who plays Christian and/or Ana. The wrong cast will easily kill it.

As for the sex on film, honestly, there's a lot of sex on film these days. With some creative directing, they can insert the same stuff into this movie and still make it watchable, at Rated R.

I know I am here are my reason 1) they are going to have to cut out a lot to make it a least Rated R. Hopefully they won't want to make it PG-13. If they do the movie will not even close to what the book is. Not that all the sex scenes are needed, but I believe some of the sex scenes are important to help the viewer build an understanding of their relationship. 2) I hope and pray they don't get A-list celebrity for this movie we need fresh faces and talent so we can really get into the characters. I don't know about anyone else but once an actor plays a certain role I can't help but see them as that character, so a new face with no big movies under the belt. 3) They have to find a a guy who can really be sexy, controlling, and cocky and carry it out through out the entire movie. He has to be close to perfect. I fell like this is not going to live up to the expectations of the Fifty fans. They they better keep twilight actors far away from this movie.

I think the only way they make it into a movie is if it's basically one long porno! And i don't really see that happening

It's only going to make big money because everyone is going to "see" how they make it into a movie. It will obviously have a high rating and good on them if they actually do make a good movie out of it.

I see myself in 10 years picking the dvd set up because whatever shop I found it in tries to get rid of it with a discount prize and then laugh and say to myself 'Well, I bought trash movies before, so why not?'.
Then I'll get drunk before I watch them and be amused about every little thing.

It's really hard to make a good movie out of what is already a so-and-so book. My favourite example about this is always Eragon: This series is already a rip off of other books and Star Wars. The only good thing about the movie was the animation of the dragon. And even that one had its wings at the center of its back which is kind of ... wrong. lol

The worst they offered Christian greys role to Justin Bieber sorry bieber fans but I doubt Beiber is too young to pull of Christians character least to say and I have my doubts over what will be presented to us in the form of a movie

Sheila Adams Actually, I follow pretty closely, and no part has been offered to ANY actor. Everything about casting right now is either a rumor or hopeful opinion. ...more

I already see actor rumours flying and they are all wrong. This bugs me although I dont really care for the books LOL

I think the movie will ruin the illusion that the book gives. Ii will see it just out of curiosity .

Lissangela So very true.

I think they should combine all 3 books and make 1 movie out of it, how else could they fill 90 minutes? I'm thinking Scarlett Johanson as Ana btw..

They'll probably try a nine 1/2 weeks or wild orchid thign, raunchy 18 that implies more than shows but crosses the line sort of..
