Has anyone read 56 by Kostya Kennedy? Just been offered the hardcover for a buck ninety nine and wondering if it is worth the time. Of course from the title it is about DiMaggio's hitting streak.

Bob For a $1.99 it's worth it. I got a book called Game Six Cincinnati, Boston, and the 1975 World Series The Triumph of America's Pastime by Mark Frost
from $1.00 store and it has been one of the best baseball books that I have ever read. For that price a leap of faith is made a lot easier. :)

C.J. Boerger It won the Casey Award for best baseball book last year so I'd say you've got a winner there. Haven't read it yet myself, but I plan on it at some point.
