carol. | 2616 comments Enter your name if you live in the UK and would like to win a copy of To Ride Hell's Chasm.
The book is being offered through the UK publisher, so it has to be people located in-country. If we don't have enough people interested who voted in the October poll, we'll open it up to general membership.

message 7: by carol., Senor Crabbypants (new)

carol. | 2616 comments Emy, Ben and Stuart--you all win! Hurrah! Please email Janny with your full name and address. She'll send you a book plate and then forward your name to the publisher, who will send you a copy of the book. Congratulations!

message 8: by Emy (new)

Emy (emypt) | 20 comments Whee, erm, is her e-mail on the other thread?

message 9: by carol., Senor Crabbypants (last edited Sep 15, 2012 01:11PM) (new)

carol. | 2616 comments I just use the GR mail system. Send message by clicking on her name and following to her author page, then click on 'send message.' Hope that helps--please let me know if it doesn't.

Emy (emypt) | 20 comments Awesome thanks!

(& Done)

message 11: by carol., Senor Crabbypants (new)

carol. | 2616 comments Ok, as promised--we have had only three takers so we are opening it up to membership at large, regardless of voting in the October polls or not. Only two rules--need to have a UK address and be willing to provide that address to Janny.

message 12: by Weenie (new)

Weenie Hi, count me in if not too late - thanks!

message 13: by carol., Senor Crabbypants (new)

carol. | 2616 comments Weenie--you are a lucky, lucky person :) Due to a shortage of entries from the UK, you win the fourth copy!
Congrats!

Weenie Brilliant, thanks very much - message to Janny sent!

I thought you already received it?

message 23: by carol., Senor Crabbypants (new)

carol. | 2616 comments I'm doubtful, Weenie. It was going through a publisher.

message 24: by Janny (new)

Janny (jannywurts) | 181 comments If your book has not arrived yet, PM me, I will check with the London office.

Actually, I was thinking that a short while after I posted but I forgot to edit, lol. I'm sad.

message 28: by Weenie (new)

Weenie Yes, I've sent a message to Janny and she will chase up - cheers.

Wrote yesterday to ask if the books went out - is there anyone in the UK who has received their book? (in case this is an isolated incident)

message 30: by Emy (new)

Emy (emypt) | 20 comments I haven't received mine yet, either. Was blaming it on the awful Mancunian post, but it might well just be the publishers :)

I have received a response from London today - the distribution center in the UK was notified to send the books the day I sent the addresses (and the same day I sent the book marks and signed book plate) - they should have responded - we are told the books were apparently sent; IF they do not arrive shortly, the editor's desk will make good. Please do keep me informed. Nobody will be left hanging, I promise.

message 35: by Emy (new)

Emy (emypt) | 20 comments I have a parcel in Worsley (nowhere near me) which I need to rearrange delivery of - hoping that's it!

Oh Royal Mail why are you allergic to using my local post office? :P

message 36: by Emy (new)

Emy (emypt) | 20 comments Yay! Finally extracted my copy from the grasp of the Royal Mail :) And it's Half term so no work next week - I think I know what I'll be doing Monday ;)
