The centrerpiece of this hitorical journey was the triumph by Dimitri Mendeleev who conceived the Periodic Law of Elements but was denied the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in both 1905 and 1906. Late Professor Ulk Lagerkvist, a member of the Swedish Aceadmey of Sciences had participated in the judging nomination for the chemistry nobel prize. He reveals the judging criteria and often heated arguments among the panels.
